How can we be your event charity partner?
All Soaked in Adventure events partner with and support a local organisation.
To apply, please email Fiona at: firstname.lastname@example.org and let her know:
- About your organisation
- What your rōpū is fundraising for
- How your team could enhance the event experience for participants as event marshals
Can I swap a team member?
Yes, team members may be changed.
Your team captain will need to update your team details online using the link provided when you registered. Remember to also make sure that your team member details are up to date on the Captain’s Form handed in at event registration.
What's involved in adventure racing?
Adventure racing is a team event where you complete a course by foot (trekking/running) and mountain biking. It’s very social and a lot of fun!
You have stages in the race which will be either running (or trekking) and mountain biking, and transition areas to prepare for your next stage.
There are also mystery activities to complete. At registration you receive a map and clue sheet, and use these to make your way around the course.
The location of the start line is announced a few days before the race.
Are your events beginner friendly?
Our events are the perfect introduction to adventure racing – no prior experience in navigation is necessary.
You must be fit enough to trek/run and mountain bike the course with your teammates – please see each event page for information about what’s involved.
Refunds and Transfers
Each event will clearly state our 50% refund deadline should your team cancel. Following this time, no refunds and transfers are offered.
If the event cannot go ahead due to safety (ie weather), we will first seek to reschedule the race date. No refunds are offered if the event is postponed.
